Back in highschool, Yasi was the NBSB (No Boyfriend Since Birth) in our barkada. Fast forward to 12 years later (my gad, we are getting old!), she's the first one to walk down the aisle. As we watched her earlier exchange 'I do's' with the love of her life, the more we believed that the best of things do come to those who wait.Yasi's wedding was also a reunion and a trip down memory lane we fondly remember as the good ol' highschool days. Andrea and I saw Santy and Carol (who was no surprise the maid of honor) after years of not seeing each other. And since Yasi is ever so loyal to our dear alma mater that she took up a teaching job at St. Scho, a lot of our old highschool teachers were present - Ms. Lening, Mrs. Dehesa-Isidro, Ms. Galang, Mrs. Ordanza, Mommy Fornias, Mr. Rono, Mr. Geneta, Mr. Isidro...and it was amazing that they still knew us! After all these years, Ms. Lening still called us 'Santos', 'Villaescusa' and 'Viloria'. Hahaha. Funny that now, we aren't 'scared' of them anymore and we are now able to talk to them like they were just 'one of us'.
It was indeed a simple yet intimate wedding, with the bride and groom definitely making it their very own. Here's to life filled with much love and happiness...forever and beyond :)
