To cap off the 3rd quarter, it was dinner at Dampa at Home Depot, Ortigas for ORMAP Custom's teambuilding. We've done away with having our teambuilding per subteams, and instead we've held it as a whole for the past quarters for more budget and of course, the more the merrier :)
This was my first Friday night out since I got back and I must admit, I've missed ending the busy work week with the company of good friends over drinks and lots and lots of food! And when I say lots, it was just really sooo much!
Having no experience of going to the wet market, moreover buying seafood for 20+ people, we delegated the pamamalengke task to Francia, Ruth, Ryan and R-jay. Medyo na-excite ata sila mamili coz we kinda went overboard with the amount of food that we ended up with - we had shrimps in garlic and butter, baked mussels, grilled tuna belly, salmon steak, calamares, grilled liempo, chili crabs, sinigang na hipon, another sinigang dish with fish, veggies, green mango with bagoong and yummy leche flan for dessert. Whew!
It was as if it was our last meal ever! Looking at the food alone made me full already, but of course, I still had my fair share of shrimps, tuna belly and salmon (my personal faves!). Suffice to say, we all enjoyed dinner and my 'kids' were all very satisfied.
We still have some budget left for a couple of meriendas next week...I'm already hearing Amber's (oohh, I miss their spaghetti!) and pizzas...but for sure, we'll lay off the seafood for now! :)
