cheat day...again!

A new craze which just opened near our office is Serenitea. But not being a fan of tea (or any variation of it), I usually just tag along with my officemates whenever they get their fix of milk tea. While waiting one lunch time, I noticed this newly opened cafe right across Serenitea:



My initial thought was it's an ice-cream/dessert place and since I'm still on my diet, I didn't give much interest to it. Maybe after a month. But just last night, I came across a food blog which featured this and all thoughts of diet flew away when I saw what else they had to offer aside from gelato:



Oh yes, macarons! My weakness! I'm only able to get good macarons from Bizu and Empire, so imagine my delight when I learned that I'd be able to satisfy my craving just beside my office! And good timing it is that my officemates once again wanted to have some milk tea. I told Ochie gurl about the macarons and she was intrigued as well (she hasn't tried one yet) so we decided that today was cheat day...hihihi.



As much as I wanted to get one of each flavor, I had to stop myself and just settle for one. So I got the Ferrero while Ochie tried the Chocolate Chip Caramel (caramel's her favorite). And they were really good! It's a bit more expensive than the ones at Bizu (P50 each) but what I like is the variety of the flavors. Though I still like the ones from Empire the best (and it's the cheapest as well).



For now (at least until October), I'll just treat myself to one macaron per week. So hard to resist to get more given that it's just a few steps away from work! Can't wait for next week...I wanna try the Choco Mint (but of course!) one next ;)
