It's been a couple of days since my last post. I just haven't had much to say. I know EXACTLY what you are thinking...... yes, there are times when I don't have a lot to say. They are few and far between, thank goodness - oh wait, that probably isn't what you were thinking huh?
Life has been busy, I'm getting most of my workouts in, going for walks, trying to stay on the meal plan I created - eating clean. Brian and I have been busy with the rental properties, but nothing really new on that front. Weve been doing a good job of staying on track with our goals and to-do lists!
It's been crappy weather for most of the week and that always makes me a little down. I need the sunshine to keep me going! We've been trying to get to the lake house to get the yard mowed and just check on things there. I'm so ready for the summer and boating and swimming!
We are gearing up for Easter tomorrow. We don't have big plans, just hoping to get together with the kids. Planning on a good meal, good conversations and fun!! I want to color Easter Eggs, but will have to do this by myself at this point. But, I'm thinking that will be okay too!!
I'll try to have a more interesting day today, with photos and some exciting things to talk about!

Saturday morning inspiration
It's a cold and foggy morning here at the lake today! Brian bought a new toy yesterday, a remote controlled boat that catches fish. He's like a kid in the candy store! So excited! He got it out as soon as we got home and charged the batteries up so he could play with it first thing in the morning. He's been up for a couple of house (since 5 AM!!) waiting on me to get around so we can go down and try it out! I'm going to take photos and possibly a video as well, just have to see how dense the fog is down by the water!
We are going to have an impromptu fit club by the water this morning, this should be a lot of fun, that is if the girls actually get up on time! Nick and his friends are here and they told me they wanted to work out this morning. I told them it had to be pretty early since I was having guests this weekend, they looked at me like I had two heads and they were both spinning. So, we settled on a 9 AM workout time. Brian is going to film us doing the workout - I think we'll do Turbo Fire, that ought to wake them up! I'm looking forward to it, so I do hope they get up on time.
I found this online on Chalene Johnson's blog today. I love how positive and upbeat she is, but she also tells it like it is. I need that in my life. Anyway, I really liked it and want to share it with you:
It's Between You And God-by Mother Theresa
"People are often unreasonable, illogical, self-centered; Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies; Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; Be honest and frank Anyway.
What you spend years building, some could destroy overnight; Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, people may be jealous; Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough; Give the best you've got anyway.
You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and "them" anyway."

Lake fun and father's day!
We so enjoy coming to our lake place and just hanging out, playing on the water and having a good time with friends and family!
How about a little down time in the hammock?
Get your suit on and let's go on the boat!
We came down last night and sitting on the deck listening to the birds is so relaxing. This morning a momma deer and her baby walked through our yard. The fawn was jumping and playing and then they wandered off.
It was so cool and I love seeing all the animals around. Of course, my camera was in the house!
Today we don't have much planned, the kids are here with Miss Madelyn, a little swimming a little cookout and then tomorrow Nick and Jake are coming for Father's Day.
It is one of my favorite ways to unwind and take it easy. Spending time with friends and family!
My back is bothering me again. It hasn't hurt like this in a while, not since I first hurt it doing Insanity. So, I'm laying off the exercise, stretching and a little yoga are on the agenda for the next few days. I'm a little upset about it, I really wanted to start Turbo Fire on Tuesday. It is scheduled to be here on Monday. I'm so excited to get it! Can Not Wait, and now I have to listen to my body and let it heal before I go full blast again.
I am looking to add members to my team of Beachbody Coaches. If this is something you would like to do, please let me know. We need people that want to help others get healthy and fit!!!! It is a fun and rewarding job for sure! If you are in my area, we are having a Beachbody Biz Opportunity meeting on Tuesdays. Let me know and I'll get the info to you so you can come and check it out!
I'll be back for Fit Club Monday night, so in the meantime, have a wonderful Father's day to all the fathers out there. Enjoy your day with your family!
Happy Father's Day Daddy! I love you and miss you and can't wait to see you soon!!!

Random posting!
Today is Jake's birthday. He's the baby of the family! Don't tell him I said that, he'd probably get really mad! He is 19 today! I can't believe that. Really. It just seems like yesterday that he was a toddler running around asking for a wittle weiner dog name Petwie. He had a problem saying his R's and L's, but it was sooo cute. He never got his little weiner dog, but he does have a cute dog - Roxy. Jake graduated from high school and has been working in construction, picking up jobs when he can. He came home (he just moved back in) and told us that he is going to go to firefighter academy. We are so excited for him. I think he will LOVE it! Classes 3 nights per week and all day on Saturday. He'll be able to work and attend school. Sounds like a good plan to me! Happy Birthday Jake! I love you!

We went to see Avatar last night. It was sooo good. I had decided that I wasn't going to go. It was so expensive since you have to purchase the 3-D glasses with your ticket. I'm a cheapskate when it comes to movies. $10.50 for the matinee was just crazy. BUT, our friends called and said they wanted to go and I'm always up for fun with Craig and Hermina! So, we met them at the show and I am so glad that we went. It is worth every penny. People even appluaded at the end of the movie. We went to dinner afterwards and had some good food too! I had pasta with Spicy Marinara and a side salad with no cheese! I did have a little of the bread, but I'm okay with that!
Just look at how great we looked with our glasses!
