Apple indeed changed the world of mp3 players when it released its first iPod a couple of years ago. Imagine a sleek gadget which can contain about 7,000 songs! I remember it was only available in 8GB back then but that was already a big deal. Of course, I was one of those who immediately got my hands on it. I got the blue one since my brother and I shared it and it's quite selfish of me if it was in pink. Hehehe.
But with the latest generation of the iPod nano, I'm now ready to retire my red one! It's less than 2 inches in height/width, it's touchscreen, and it has a radio as well. If only it came in 32GB. But the 16GB will do. I haven't checked if it's available already here in Manila but I'll definitely drop by the Apple store on the weekend and get myself one.
A new generation was released almost every year but it was in 2007 that I decided to retire my old ipod and get myself the latest model during that time. It was smaller, slimmer and lighter. I really wanted to get one in pink but it wasn't available yet in that color so I had to settle with red instead. On a side note, I got my 2nd iPod in October but then come February the following year, Apple released the pink version just in time for Valentines. Kainis!
A lot of much improved versions came out later on but I still settled with my red nano. I almost got myself an iPod touch but I wanted an iPhone as well so I went for the latter.
And this time, I'll definitely get it in pink :)
