When I first found out that Cebu Pacific's maximum check-in baggage allowance is just 15 lbs, I thought I just heard wrong...it must be 50...but no, it really was 15! Seriously?! I've never traveled with a luggage less than 50 lbs. Even my out-of-state trips over the weekend takes me at least 15 lbs, and that's without any shopping!
As babaw as it may seem, but that's my biggest problem for our upcoming trip to Hongkong. I already had a luggage in mind - my Samsonite handcarry (ergo, it just fits the overhead compartment) during our last US trip but when I weighed the empty luggage, it was already close to 9 lbs! Waaaah! My mom was already telling me to just pay for extra baggage weight and I'm afraid I may just do that. On the other hand, she said that maybe it means that I should not do any shopping...but that can't be! I've held off from retail therapy all these months because of this trip!
So excess baggage it is. Or keeping my fingers crossed, I hope the others won't reach their limits so I would have some buffer if I do exceed (which is most likely!) mine. Goodluck talaga!
