side trip

Today is grocery day but before heading to Makati Supermarket, I made a quick side trip to Powerbooks and National Bookstore first. That can only mean one thing - books! And true enough, I was able to buy a couple more to complete some of the series I just got.

I finally saw the first book in the series (and the last copy at that!). My Prophecy of the Sisters series is now complete!

I also got the 10th book in the Sookie Stackhouse series and it's the same release as my boxset! This is also the last copy available.

I also saw this one which I've been looking for when I saw it on Amazon recently. The blurb looks promising enough but what made me really want to get a copy of this is because it is written by a Filipina - Samantha Sotto. The reviews are pretty good and it even made it to the New York Times bestseller's list!

With my recent buys, I better take a break from book-buying for a bit. Good thing the next batch of new releases will be not until the end of the month!
