a night with Jose

We were supposed to go out drinking tonight at Eastwood with our cousins but at the last minute, we found out that one was suddenly down with fever, while the other was nursing a bad case of cough and colds. It was also raining so the other cousins were having second thoughts of going out. Since we would be having a big reunion anyway tomorrow, we decided to just call off our night out and just see each other the next day. But my brother and I were already at Eastwood, and with nothing else to do, we decided to just have a couple of shots at the condo instead. Our other uncles were also there but they didn't want to drink so it was just me and my brother. A couple of hours passed with lots of kwentuhan in between and the next thing we knew, we've already finished off an entire bottle of Cuervo! Again, it was just me and my brother who had the shots. But the kicker was, I wasn't a bit tipsy at all. I was hoping to get a slight buzz so I'd be able to sleep right away but it had no effect on me. If only I wasn't in my jammies already, we would have gotten out to the bar downstairs for more! Hahaha. Oh well, til the next drinking session..and next time around, everyone should show up!
