empty-handed

It's the end-of-season sale once again and almost all of the stores in the malls have the big red SALE sign up. Of course this got me excited that I even went to Glorietta the other day after work for the 1st day of Marks and Spencers sale. But to my disappointment, I walked out empty-handed :( There wasn't anything that I liked! The 50% off sign didn't help...as much as I wanted to buy even 1 piece of clothing, nothing really caught my eye. Their January sale earlier this year was waaaay better - I got a LOT of good buys then!

I also went to Town where Mango had EVERYTHING at 50% off but same thing, I didn't see anything nice. I was hopping that I would have better luck at MOA yesterday but even the bookstores failed me. With my failed shopping attempts these past days, I then went for the next best thing where for sure, I'd end up buying something - Amazon!

I was actually hoping that they'd have some 4th of July discounts but they didn't have any...that won't stop me though from getting something. I ended up getting a couple of hardbounds:

There are still some DVDs, more books, toys (Lego!) and some other knick knacks in my cart which I've saved for later - when I again end up empty-handed from shopping at the malls!
