iPhoto

My new toy has been keeping me up for the past nights. I've now transferred all my files, loaded all my songs into iTunes and synced it up with my iPod and have downloaded iBank to replace Quicken for my financial stuff. With that done, next are the pictures. And I'm now hooked with iPhoto's photo book feature! It basically allows you to create photo books easily (as in drag and drop!) and there's a whole bunch of cool layouts to choose from.

My first project is something I plan to give my 2 best friends who are getting married in LA next month, and in Jakarta in December. This is our 2008 summer vacation in California. I know, it's looong overdue but as they say, better late than never! Here are some pages from the photo book:

I'm still figuring out how to have it printed. Apple's printing feature needs a US billing address so that's kinda out of the question. I've looked around here and there might be a place where I can have this done. Let's see how that goes. But in the meantime, I now want to make photo books for all my pictures! Even if I can't have them printed right away, it's nice to see them all neatly laid out and it can be played as a slideshow complete with effects and music. I've again found something to keep me busy for the next couple of nights (and maybe even weeks!) ;)
