Despedida

Andrea, Nix and Hazel (missing Cristy!)

After being home for just 10 months from her 3-year stint in the US, Andrea is again leaving. This time she's going to Jakarta...for good. If before she left because of her career, now she's leaving to follow her heart. She's finally getting married (to an Indonesian, hence the move to Jakarta) and will soon start a new chapter in her life.

We threw her a despedida party, just a small one with her close friends. It was a fun night filled with laughter, reminiscing the good ol' memories, and of course drinks! Hahaha. But though she's leaving in a couple of days, this is not goodbye. For starters, I'll be flying to Indonesia for her wedding most probably in September and she'll still be coming home every now and then. So for sure, we'll definitely see each other.

And as proven by time, even if we're in different parts of the world - US (Cristy), Manila (Nix and Hazel), Jakarta (Andrea), the friendship still remains and would even grow stronger. Kulasa friendships are the best! True, I'll miss our Friday coffee dates and impromptu dinner and drinking nights, but I know that whatever happens, wherever we may be, we'll always be there for each other.

No goodbyes...see you again soon, Scusiroo! I'll miss you! Love you! :)
