the little one

I had to go to Town earlier to have some documents FedEx-ed to Lec. The little one was again with me the whole day and I didn't want to leave him behind so I decided to bring him and yaya along. The minute I asked him if he wanted to go to Town, he immediately pulled yaya into his room to dress up.

As we went down the Promenade entrance, he held on to my hand and excitedly pointed to Rustan's. But since Powerbooks was right there at the entrance, I told him that we'll look at some books first then we'd go check out the toys. He agreed and patiently waited for me as I looked for something to buy, but unfortunately nothing interested me. So off to Rustan's we went.

The moment we entered Rustan's, he went straight to the Transformer's section and excitedly named each toy on display - still beats me how he is able to identify them! They look all the same to me. I usually buy him one toy everytime we go out so I asked him to pick which one he liked. But he already had all of those in display and he was a bit sad as he said, 'I have na all, Nang-nang'. So I told him that we'd check out Toys R Us instead upstairs since they have a bigger selection. He got all excited again upon hearing that.

I originally wanted to go around and shop for myself after finishing my business with FedEx, but seeing the little one excitedly waiting for me to go to the other toy store made me change my mind. I was actually more excited to shop for him instead! And true enough, Toys R Us had more choices and Gabby was so excited upon seeing the ones he didn't have yet. Even the salesman was amazed with him since he was able to name each one. He ended up getting this combination Skyburst thingy (again, they all look alike!) and he gave me a tight hug and a kiss when I got it for him. Awww!

I didn't feel like shopping for myself anymore afterwards (is this me?! hahaha!). Instead, we had a quick snack of cheese pizza (that's the only kind of pizza Gabby eats) at Shakey's before heading home. Though I ended up not buying anything for myself and instead just spending on the little one, seeing him so happy with our little 'outing' felt like I just went on a shopping spree :)
