We had our new year's eve dinner at the Richmonde Hotel which just opened a few months ago. Yummy buffet! The selection was quite limited though compared to Circles, but in a way it was better since we were able to try almost everything. The food was really good - definitely worth it! The little one also enjoyed his dinner, which is a rare thing nowadays since the only thing he wants to eat is Chickenjoy.
We went back to the condo afterwards to rest and relax, then went down to party again just a few hours before midnight.
After a couple of tequila shots (the event was sponsored by The Bar which just launched it's new Citrus Tequila - way better than their vodka line) and drinks at The Distillery, we were ready for the big countdown.
At exactly 12 midnight, the energy was just bustling everywhere and everyone was on a new year's high. With fireworks ablaze and cheers all throughout, we welcomed 2011 with a renewed spirit and high hopes that the coming year will be more fabulous than the one that just ended. As for my own tradition, the night will not be complete without wishing him a happy new year. I immediately called him as the fireworks died down, and though it was just 10am of the 31st in Minnesota we welcomed the new year wishing we were together on this day, but at the same time, we had high hopes of another love-filled year together. Here's to another year of living life to the fullest, laughing hard and loving unconditionally...Happy New Year! :)
