29th

Since my birthday was on a Thursday, it wasn't until the next day when I celebrated my 29th (waaah...I'm really getting old!) with my girls. The plan was simple - dinner and drinks with lots of girl bonding moments in between. On a side note, take note that all three of them were wearing black. They didn't plan it and with me in purple, it was indeed my day!

We started the night with dinner at one of my favorite restos - Bizu. We got some of my favorites. Baguettini with Mushroom Duxelle and Tomato Rosemary dips for starters:

Chicken Waldorf Salad with Orange Honey Yoghurt dressing:

Wild Mushroom Carbonara:

Beef Stew Baked Rice:

And for dessert, we got the Chocolate Souffle served with Vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce...it was just soooo good! It's the first time that I tried this and I now have another reason to come back:

It was wiped out in seconds!

Suffice to say, we were stuffed and happy with our delicious dinner.

We then met up with two other friends then headed to Cabooze in BF for drinks. We were in for a long, fun night!

We also got a tower of this strawberry cream with bacardi which the girls really liked (tastes so much like Tequila Rose):

And we pretty much just enjoyed and partied the night away...

It was already around 2am when we called it a night (Cristy had a 5am flight for Iligan the following day) but not without capping the 'night' off at Starbucks first.

It was indeed a fun night. Nothing beats celebrating your birthday with your best friends and I wouldn't have had it any other way :)
