I finally crossed out the first book from my TBR list. I came across this from one of the book forums I'm following and the reviews were pretty good. Thanks to Ochie gurl, she was able to get me the ebook version of this. I had my apprehensions at first since it was about a very controversial issue. On the surface, it's about the love story of Lochan and Maya...two persons deeply in love that they would do anything and risk everything for each other. Romantic isn't it? But the catch is, they are brother and sister. Yep, they are biological siblings. So you can imagine how this goes.

The first few chapters where ok but as the story grew deeper, um, let's just say that there are some things that I just can't take even if it's fiction (and I thought that book-wise, I was liberal on these things already!). But in fairness, if you get over the initial shock of how the story goes, it is actually written beautifully. The author was able to show how great and true love can be, but as expected a love this devastating has no happy ending. No spoilers, but the ending was indeed dramatic.

It is still worth reading but you really need to have an open mind to appreciate it. After this, I think I need a light, no-brainer chick lit as my next read!
