bookshelves

My fellow bookworm, Ochie, sent me this site made for booklovers everywhere and it made me longing to overhaul and re-design my bookshelves (if only I had the space!). I've always wanted to have a mini-library and now I know exactly how I want it to be:

I love how it is still cozy and relaxing (and not cluttered despite all the books)...definitely how I envision my 'me time' place to look like. But instead of a couch, I'd to have a small comfy bed for a more relaxing reading time.

Here's another unique bookshelf which I like:

I like how all the books are arranged by color in this one but it would be such a pain to look for a book this way! I still prefer arranging my books by author or by series. I have a thing with book covers and how pretty it would look all together in the shelves especially those belonging in the same series.

Here's another take on the shelves which can actually be incorporated in my dream library but I'd like the shelves to be in white to go with the rest of the theme:

Now that I have the design, all I need is the space!
