extra extra

When I love what I'm doing, giving my 110% comes naturally. I don't mind going the extra mile or taking that additional step. When I'm given something extra which I don't like that much, fine, I'll still do it and give what's expected of me - I like a challenge every now and then. But when it is expected of you to go above and beyond that something extra which you don't really like that much to begin with, well, that's another story. It now overshadows what you came to do in the first place and you end up stressing yourself more on something you didn't ask for anyway - but then, you need that something extra coz if not, you'll be left far behind. So will I go all out and learn to walk on a tightrope, eat fire and swing up high on a trapeze? I don't think so. I have far better use of my time (and talent!). I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping that the time will soon come when it's me who's doing the countdown ;)
