Then this morning, she decided to just have a simple merienda instead of going out, and invite my brother in law's family so at least there would be kids (his sister has 2 daughters). But then again, my sister's idea of 'simple' is not simple at all. What was supposed to be just an afternoon snack turned out to be a mini-party complete with balloons and giveaways! Talk about last minute - everything was prepared in just under 5 hours! We can't imagine how we managed to pull it off but the little one's 3rd birthday 'party' was a success.
There was cake...
barbecue...
spaghetti...mini pizza pandesal...

rainbow sandwiches...
stuffed eggs...
fresh lemonade and cranberry juice...
and last minute balloons and giveaways!
It was a sight to see the little one get all excited when he saw the cake and all the food laid out.
He really had a good time especially when he got to eat some ice cream and cake - he's not allowed to eat sweets on regular days so this was indeed a treat for him.
It was just a small yet perfect celebration with our family, my brother in law's, and Wowo Freddie and Wowa Josie :)
Happy 3rd birthday, Gabby!
